I don't think she'll ever fly in the movies. Brian Singer said so himself that he doesn't want all these flying mutants having battles in the sky.
Storm flies a little because of the wind she's making. Magneto can because he uses his powers to manipulate steel and therefor pushes himself up in the air. I wonder if he will make an exception with Rogue.
He sooo should, I mean Rogue gaining Carol's powers was a big thing, and shouldn't be overlooked or passed up. I know it would disappoint a lot of fans if we didn't get to see her in action. I mean I'll get it if he doesn't want her flying every 5 min, but at least have her fly a bit. And let's see some of that strength
I want PHOENIX to fly, cuz if she doesn't i'll get outta the cinema and never more will watch any X-men or Bryan's movie. As she will (hopefully) fly, Storm must do it to stop her...flying battle would be great(no Matrix hand to hand fighting, they could just fly while use their power...). As for Rogue, no problem if she doesn't fly or have super strength, i just wanna see her fight Mystique (and win) stealing a bit of her power and therefore Mystique's fighting abilitites. Just please no more crying Rogue, she's gotta be stronger. And meet Remy.

I totatlly agree.
I want Rogue to gain Ms. Marvels powers too. Yes, it was nice to see her main power, aborbing for the first 2 movies, but please, let's see her evolve.
Yep, she wouldn't be flying THAT much, but yeah, you're right, a scene here and there would be great. But what about super strenght? She'll be able to knock walls down and stuff with that power.
I do think it might be a bit early for her to meet Gambit, maybe introduce him and have her hook up with him in X4. But I can see a triangle with her, Iceman and Gambit. That would to neat to see.

Well, I like the comic versions better...for all the characters. I personally think the movie really screwed up some of them. For instance, there is no explanation for Rogue's stripes. Pyro is blonde and Australian. So I'm unimpressed with the movies. Paquin's a good actress, but considering her situations it can't be helped.
Oh, and as for who she should end up with...Gambit, always and definitely. Wolverine/Rogue is disgusting and Bobby holds no candle to the great Cajun. The movies would be so much better if they'd introduced Remy LeBeau like they should have...I was so excited when I saw his name *mentioned* in the movie. Can't wait until they actually *bring* him in.
