Rogue

Never Mind. I think I might buy some more comics tommorrow. I'll have to check which ones are out now, as I hav't checked for about a month.

I like clean characters. Marvel is dirting up their cast. Rogue was cool when she absorbed Ms. Marvels powers. I like her with 60 ton strength and limited invulnerablity and flight. I'd like to see the comics utilize her as a rogue team member. She could be an independent force inside the x-men.
Rogue always had personal issues but was never just a helpless girl. In the movie she was portrayed as your common subserviant girlfriend. She was more Lady power in the old days, now shes one of the guys.

I agree with you Mael, Rogue isn't like she used to be in the comics. She was kick booty in the comics, she always stood up for herself, and never fear get the best of her. Seems like movie Rogue is always screaming 😬

Movie Rogue stinks, plain and simple. Pairing her up with Ice-man?? What were they thinking??

And yes, I agree also. Rogue used to be all about getting the job done and fighting, now she's turned into a "girl" pardon the pun. A few skimpy outfits (no conplaints here) and she kind of had a "country" attitude. Now .. . not so much .. .

Yeah and the only time you can sorta of hear her accent is when she's 'freaking' out 🙄 Comic Rogue would never freak out if the mansion hallway window exploded in front of her. She'd just roll up her sleeves fly into the action and start kicking some army booty

yeah yeah. Movie Rogue isn't such a fav character, cuz her powers suck and she acts like a wimp.
"everyone" seems to love Logan, why, I have no clue.

He was liked and then he got popular, you see the change happen to people all the time, kids in school, presidents, you name it, a lot of people let it change them cause it feels good, and that ruins the character. That's what is happening to Rogue

Yeah, Logan has always been a popularized character. Seems like sometimes you can't pick up a comic, or watch a movie (Talking about the X-movies) and he isn't there.

Comic Rogue was someone could look up to, and be like, 'Hey I wanna fly around and drain people' but with movie Rogue it's like, 'Gee....what a wimp'

Exactly!! I couldn't agree more.
The change from Comic Rogue and Movie Rogue is major. It's almost like there too different people.
There powers vary as well as there personalities.

Well, remember the movies are going into a direction then the comics
Rogue is alot youger in the movies than the comics
The movies can't alway be exactly te same
i am glad that they made her younger
also pyro was not even friends with bobby and rogue
and in the movie he is
Pyro is HOT!!if Gambit is in the 3rd x-men he might be older than rogue

Well...when Rogue joined the X-Men in the comics she was younger I think she was around 18 or 19, but I'd have to double check that to be sure

I get that the movie is going in a different direction, but in my opinion some of the changes are just too drastic

yea maybe, though i think John/Pyro is better than Bobby/Iceman

Well anyone is better then Bobby 😆 But I would still rather see her with Remy. But if it comes down to that, I think I would be able to stand a relationship with Pryo...maybe.... But I still don't want that to happen, but that's just me
