It took Thor repeated tries, seeing his loved ones in danger and a strike on a bent joint. The circumstances are completely different. In literally the same fight, the axe was utterly useless against the Destroyer and it still was....it did not noticeable damage at all.
I don't even know what the rest of your post has to do with anything I said. Like, why are you bringing up Superman's piercing durability? Or me pointing out that Thor's lack of confidence and exhaustion is why he lost his arm in the combat (Which has nothing to do with the axe being able to cut him)
