Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if women turned out to be dyspraxic more often than men. I'm dyspraxic and it fits the bill for 'stereotypical' women: clumsy, bad driver, etc. Men tend to be more likely to be autistic to some degree so it'd make sense for the other sex to have their own set of weird defects. Humans are a weird-ass bunch.

There are little differences in our physiology because of our stereotypical roles early in our evolution. I read that women are better at distinguishing colors (mainly shades of red) due to their foraging duties. they also store fats differently than we do iirc because of child birth and such.
I think intellectually, women are definitely equal to men. Physically, however, it is clear that men have the edge. Not that it's really needed anymore anyways.

the fat thing is true. I can say that female bodybuilders do much better on a low carb/high fat diet than males. males will shred faster on the reverse. it's all about the need for visceral fat around the reproductive organs
Originally posted by RaisenYeah, exactly. I love the differences we have. I respect women as women for a reason... because they're women. There are feminine men and masculine women, but for the most part we fall more closely to our own sexual identity in terms of specifics, and there's nothing wrong with that.
dude. females and males are different...and it's beautiful. we need to embrace this because it's just natural.
So what if women are overall less physically capable than men? They also deal better with stress, just look at suicide rates. And the differences just keep going back. The men hunted the meat, the women gathered the food and carried the children. We all have our capabilities and downfalls, such is organic life.

I agree in part. they deal with stress better because they take less direct responsibility. men blame themselves for most because it's our role. women tend to blame circumstance. suicide is a violent and man thing. always has been.
just embrace the way it is. don't blame people. we are biological creatures
Yep, and biological creatures are naturally flawed, it's in our nature. As long as we can co-exist peacefully, that's the main thing, much more than all of the petty detail-squabbling thats going on. Things are getting better these days imo, so we just need to come over these last few hurdles so that we can really get to work as a species.

well shiit. we are made to interact with eachother. we are made different and rarely almost similar.
time to get over the political and social engineering. we are nature. lions and lionesses designed to come together and create more of our kind in whatever way we do. our complex brains will create hurdles but our complex brains should also eventually tear these barriers down.
For sure man, and same for you. Being respectful is the most important thing. Like I'm not a Christian but I think Jesus is great. Just because someone is non-religious doesn't mean they can't understand someone who is, just like how people on differing sides of political discourse can and should respect each other's views. It's the only way to progress at this stage imo, we have to reach further than what we already have
Can't Happen Fast Enough if you ask me.
