See, but your attitude isn't going to help the situation at all. Because Muslim women in the west who voluntarily wear these religious garbs will look at this demonization of their choice as all the more reason for them to stand their ground and all the more likely to conceptualize it as them standing up to the pressures to abandon their culture in favor of assimilation, rather than how you conceptualize it as them caving in to the patriarchal pressures imposed on them by Islamic society.

When people immigrate to a different land they very often won't feel completely at home there. A void in them is created by being transplanted in an alien culture which they are not intrinsically a part of. So they cling to the remnants of the culture of their homeland that remain in tact.

I think this, more than anything else, is why you will see modern Muslim western women who identify as "feminist" decide to wear some variation of Muslim garb.

But were they not imposed on them though? Who chooses to cover up everything but your eyes and hands willingly?

Keep in mind I'm not saying I'd go up to a Muslim woman and berate her for her clothes and be all "patriarchy did this!".

Just so people know, a car plowed into a crowd. No deaths that I know of.

I wonder if it was a nazi driving the car or an anti-nazi. Both sides are horrible so it is hard to tell.

IMO, if under the law the naizs have the right to go hold a rally...I think people should stay away. It's just begging for trouble. Even if you tell yourself you're gonna go there just to peacefully protest, it's going to change once you're up close with some nazi douche.

If they had stayed away the douches are just the nazis. Now everyones a douche.

Has Antifa showd their face at these nazi rallies?

But the group is functionally retarded. They are fascists who have a name that means anti-fascist.

Did you hear about the one time a bunch of Antifa people tried to set off a smoke bomb at some people and the wind blew it all right back in their face and they had to flee? Hilarious.

Or the chick that got punched by a dude and people made her a victim, then whoops evidence came out about her committing acts of violence there lol. She was Antifa too.

I've been on anti-far right protests in which Antifa tried to get involved and take over. They got told to **** off. They did.

It's heartwarming to know that there are leftist protesters with enough sense to tell those douchebags to **** off.

Lol, yeah...it just seems like they are kind of posers. When people actually fight back they run away.

I find it hilarious though that they pissed off 4chan and they had a part in exposing the antifa guy who attacked someone with a bike lock. He was a college professor btw, surprise surprise lol.

You almost feel pity for them because they truly feel they are anti-fascists. I am genuinely curious how that thought process works. How one can consider themselves an anti-fascist and then participate in blocking people from attending an event because they disagree with the politics of those hosting the event.

I was a member of AFL in the UK in the 80's, we were sometimes violent, because the NF were fascists and in the 80's the war was as near to now is to then. If you'd lost an unce or a lot more family to National Socialism, anger about it was still in families memories.

Nice to know that you are a Admitted Terrorist that has committed actual acts of Violence.

You are a true Leftist.

Protester

it's too bad our states are not nearly as quick at targeting and identifying right wing rebranded terror groups, as they are with the muslem variety. source: no alt-ISIS protests allowed.

No, sometimes protests do end up as violent confrontations when counter protests take place, the NF were mainly football hooligans. We mainly defended ourselves, however in things like the miners strike protests where the mounted Police were being used as cavalry to break protestors, or the pole tax riots which brought down Maggie Thatcher and eventually led to a Labour victory in the 96 Election. You did know a good chance of violence was expected. I wouldn't expect you to understand. Good men sometimes have to defend the rights of the weak and sometimes that means fighting back.
