Then a girl who works at the food cart across the street was laughing at something a customer said and these lunatics assumed she was laughing at them. So they flipped out...there were death threats aimed at her for that. And also death threats aimed at her because she dared to serve someone who was part of Homeland Security. The cart donates the money it makes to charity. Now the family is selling it. Gee good job you lunatics.
Cops didn't really do anything because the mayor had told them to stand down.

The footage shows the shooting was justified. The cops are not going to be charged. Yet the family of the dead guy and some activists still want the cops fired and charged...even after they saw the body cam footage lol. This is insanity.
Multiple witnesses lied about this. Sort of like "hands up don't shoot". In this specific case witnesses said:
-When police first approached the man raised his hands up in the air as an act of surrender. This was a lie.
-They said the cops used a taser on the guy which caused him to run away. This was a lie, no taser was ever used.
-They said the guy was not armed. This was a lie.
IMO the witnesses should be charged with a crime if at all possible.

Jordan Peterson has pretty thoroughly roasted Title IX before, pointing out that practices like this basically set up universities as quasi-judicial systems for which they do not have the expertise or accountability. It is very dangerous to set up such systems in a position of power over people's lives like that.

An update for the story of the officers who were justified in shooting the guy yet the family still want the cops fired and charged: the chief of police is calling for the witnesses who lied to be prosecuted. Good. This doesn't mean they will be prosecuted, but it's nice to see the authorities calling for these pieces of shit to be penalized.
