I actually have a decent amount of respect for Beto though. He seems like a man of good character, and I agree with some of his social policy (minus gun control and abortion), and even though I strongly disagree with him economically he's in favor of lower corporate taxes which is a good thing.
He seems like a rare democrat who is not:
A. a corporate shill
B. as far to the left economically as this new wave of democrats like Cortes
C. obsessed with identity politics
