California’s Women’s March Rally Canceled For Being 'Overwhelmingly White' In Overwhelmingly White County

Lol you can't make this stuff up. The left is full of f*cking racist pieces of shit.

Man I sure hope none of these women's marches are overwhelmingly...women. We need diversity.

I hope future BLM rallies are not overwhelmingly black...even if the rally is taking place in a town with a majority black population, cuz you see....something something racism something something these people are god damn lunatics and I enjoy laughing at them and those who are on their side.

Here, let me outline the actual post you're misrepresenting.

"The below PSA has just been released. Thank you to the women and men who helped make this decision.

Humboldt County organizers and supporters of the annual Women's March have decided to not hold a rally in Eureka on January 19th. This decision was made after many conversations between local social-change organizers and supporters of the march.

The local organizers are continuing to meet and discuss how to broaden representation in the organizing committee to create an event that represents and supports peoples who live here in Humboldt. Up to this point, the participants have been overwhelmingly white, lacking representation from several perspectives in our community. Instead of pushing forward with crucial voices absent, the organizing team will take time for more outreach. Our goal is that planning will continue and we will be successful in creating an event that will build power and community engagement through connection between women that seek to improve the lives of all in our community.

The group is exploring holding an event in March to celebrate International Women’s Day. Anyone interested in helping organize these events are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Eureka Women's March organizing committee encourages local supporters to attend the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in Eureka on January 21, Martin Luther King Jr. Day."

It isn't the lack of diversity in the marchers that they are concerned with, but that of the organizing committee itself.

So where's the racism in wanting to have racially diverse viewpoints on your committee? Whites are not being excluded, they just want viewpoints that are non-white as well. And it is one thing to think their goal to have a diverse committee is pointless, but that isn't what you're saying. You're saying they are being racist. Why is that my friend?

I understand your point but it seems Surtur's narrative is correct. They are clearly not referring to just the organizers. They make specific mentions of people who are not leaders in the march, helping them with that decision.

"Too many white people are in this march. And too many white people are leaders."

And it's racism from multiple angles. If the leadership is not proportionally represented, it could be racism from the minorities who don't want to participate in a white club. If people are proportionally represented in the march, then it is anti-white racism.

Anyone have any numbers to share?

Regardless, "Cancel the march, too many white people are participating" is racist no matter how you cut it up.

Could be racist white people, as well. Need to make sure that's mentioned, too.

I can't edit my post because KMC is poop.

Or maybe they're speaking in code and dog whistle... maybe there's too many of... ze juden

Kind of like how the Left is now going Full on Racist against White People now!?

Palestinian Sells House To Jews. Palestinians Sentence Him To Life In Prison.

"The Jerusalem Post stated: “Akel was accused of acting as a broker in the sale of a house jointly owned by the Alami and Halabi families in the Muslim Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem. Palestinians claimed that the house was sold for $500,000 to Ateret Kohanim, a Jewish organization that has been purchasing Arab-owned properties in east Jerusalem for several years.” The PA’s official news agency Wafa asserted Akel was convicted of “selling a house to the enemy in Jerusalem.”

Speaking of hills to die on..I'm hoping someone takes a shot at this. Pretty please?

Ohh snap Louis CK made fun of parkland student survivors in leaked audio of a comedy set.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

You can hear the audience laughing at it, so all those new yorkers laughing must be evil right wingers. Damn them. Damn them all to hell!

Where are you quoting that from? I couldn't find it in the Facebook page at all.

Could be, but this seems to be conjecture. Do you have anything more concrete?

If people are proportionally represented in the march, then it is anti-white racism.

Why is that?

No. 👆

But that doesn't appear to be what has been said. 👆

What is your problem my friend? We're having a completely civil conversation here. Why are you gloating over hiding behind someone else's posts in lieu of discussing it yourself?

No problem, just enjoying seeing you defend racism.

Spoiler alert: it's racist whether it's about the participants or those in charge. You sit there and say it's not racist for these people to cancel an event in an overwhelmingly white county because those organizing it are overwhelmingly white. It's asinine IMO.

Womens march event in New Orleans also cancelled. El Oh El. Makes me smile seeing this implode.

Organizers cancel Women's March in New Orleans as support drops 'drastically'

I am patiently waiting for festivities to begin, in the meantime, yesterday Pat Sajak tweeted:

Are you able to address the point or are you going to pretend that mocking an idea with quotes is not a thing?

And any approach from any angle is equally conjecture. Only one of them is true: too many white people. So there's obviously far less conjecture if it assumes "too many white people."

No. 👆

So is it possible that there was equal representation but they wanted disproportionate racial representation which would be inappropriate? Or is it possible no one knows and the only narrative being pushed (their own words) is that they wanted more minorities in the march and in leadership?

But that's a paraphrase of the exact situation. And it's racist. 👆

It doesn't matter that you want to force another narrative. 👆

Trying to twist racism into some kind of positive spin by claiming it's in the name of diversity is sooo 2018.

But hey, lets indulge in the insanity, lets look up the numbers when it comes to race in the county, the last census tells us:

The racial makeup of Humboldt County was 109,920 (81.7%) White, 1,505 (1.1%) African American, 7,726 (5.7%) Native American, 2,944 (2.2%) Asian, 352 (0.3%) Pacific Islander, 5,003 (3.7%) from other races, and 7,173 (5.3%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 13,211 persons (9.8%).

Lol who wants to bet that, even though a group like native americans represents a larger part of the population than blacks...the march means just blacks and hispanics when they talk about a lack of diversity?

And oh shit over EIGHTY percent of the population is white lol. Yeah, boo f*cking hoo that the committee is white. Maybe they could hire a black guy to represent the 1.1% of blacks that live in the area lol. Not more than 1 though, cuz if they had more they'd be OVER represented, and that's bad! And obviously the committee would have also cancelled this event if the committee was overwhelmingly black(props to any leftist who actually believes that to be true, you're adorable)

While your point is correct, you may not be going far enough.

Depending on how many leadership positions there are, it may be inappropriate to include even a single black person. If there are only 10 leadership positions, including even a single black person as a leader would be an over representation (especially if this was to the detriment of a native American position which would be rounded up to 1), if they are to be proportionally represented.

This is the problem with trying to be a moronic SJW with "proportional racial representation": you may end up forcing a racist narrative that you are supposedly against.

I highly doubt their leadership has even 10 members.

When you get to participants in the march, then you can start to see proportional representation if you have 100 or more marchers.

I had to do this shit for a living when staffing government contracts. You couldn't listen to the morons who cried about disproportionate representation. You had to go off of actual legit data. And when I'd compile the attestation report (had to demonstrate compliance or at least due diligence in hiring practices), it had to be clearly outlined. The report took less than 30 minutes.

However, when I inherited the position, we had 0 black people. None. That was a problem. I corrected it by hiring qualified candidates and veterans. I didn't have to give preferential treatment to minorities - there were plenty. Which indicates, to me, that there were ACTUAL racist hiring practices taking place before I took over. So, yeah, hey...legit racism still exists, Surtur.
