Been like that forever, unfortunately.
Way back in the 1980's, Christopher Priest was penning a Power Man and Iron Fist story about a giant, white glowing monster that only attacked black cops, and everyone cared. Then they find out it's actually a black guy, that Hulks out into a white looking guy. Suddenly, the story evaporates.
It was a good story, that shows this isn't something new (Or why would Priest write about it?)

Vice isn't the only place he worked at, but the source he is using is The Daily Caller. And before you complain about that source: the site you and Robtard love to use for media fact checking gives it the same factual reporting rating as CNN 🙂
