That was pretty messed up. If the hotel owner's intention was not to single out a single group she could have easily made it mandatory for all guests. Would have saved ink as well.

Wait, I've never even heard this stereotype about Jews. Now they smell? Or what? But yeah, awful, and honestly if she had told everyone to shower before going swimming it would have still been offensive, just not to a specific group.

^ Well, you could have explained it away with limited chlorine filtering or some ish. Specifically targeting jewish people make's it appear that they are dirtier than others. It was stupid and she should apologize.

It was stupid but I am just mystified at where this stereotype even came from. Is she confusing Jews with the French? Aren't they the stereotyped ones who smell? Let me guess she probably thinks they just have bad teeth and love tea.

EDIT: Because on this forum it needs to be said, I am not endorsing those stereotypes or saying they are true, just mentioning other common stereotypes.

IDK...these things can be spread so easily. I'd have to ask the European posters here if that stereotype is prominent in Europe. I've never heard of it.

I have seen the big nose stereotype for them. Which okay, a person tends not to always smell themselves, but if there are other Jews around their noses should detect it....lol.

Again since I know it needs to be said: not being serious.

Orthodox Jews particularly are stereotyped like that.

Yeah, in London Tottenham Hotspur are traditionally supported by the Jews, their hooligans are called the Yid Army and most other fans joke about how people's noses are so big they should be Spurs fans.

No, this is a team known worldwide. They are a little older and more famous.

Thanks for the link. I should have been able to deduce that but my Football knowledge is sorely lacking.

I like places like the UK, they are America's DUFF. Europe in general too I guess.

So it begins:

PayPal tries to ban conservative websites — and the internet responds swiftly

^ Seems like a poor business strategy. Isn't it the conservatives who make the most money? And they are the slight majority from what I understand. Not the best way to keep making money. lol

Yep, and backlash made then undo it...for now. As support for Anifa, or rather just willful ignorance of Antifa grows...I wonder if backlash will be enough to change stuff in the future.

Well at least we know backlash can work both ways.
