I’ve been pretty straight forward when it comes to abortions. Look at any of my post, I’m neither pro nor anti. I just believe I shouldn’t be force to pay for someone lacks of responsibilities.

My biggest gripes is the fact that a woman can have an abortion without the fathers input, but flip it around, the man has no rights.

You want an abortion, fine by me, just don’t make pay for it.

That is obviously a special case and I could easily be convinced to go either way on it. On the one hand, I don't like that a woman should be forced to give birth to a child if sex was violently forced upon her but, otoh, it's not the child's fault that it happened to her and he/she, imo, still has a basic fundamental right to life. The rapist should be punished, not the child. It would be awkward though, that when the child gets old enough, for the mother to explain to the child that his/her father is a rapist and that he/she was only conceived because she was raped. That would likely lead to psychological & social issues for the child and he/she might even end-up hating his or herself for it.

Both rape and incest combined make-up a very tine percentage of overall pregnancies though. I don't think we should justify abortion because of something that happens very rarely. In the end, if I was forced to choose, I'd probably say that exceptions should be made for rape & incest.
