"Allen's actions and their cascading consequences ensured that Amazon could never possibly receive the benefit of its four-picture agreement.
That statement really pisses me off unless I missed something? His actions. If Woody really did abuse his daughter, he deserves to rot in jail. But up until that point, why.the.**** is it guilty until proven innocent? And that came from a lawyer.

What Woody did with his step daughter was sleazy and wrong, but from the evidence gathered up by both cops and child services, rape was not a factor.
I was hope you never have to face false rape allegations, but instead of following the laws of innocent until proven guilty, you’re cited as a rapist by mob rule.

If the allegations are true, shun him. Until then, they're allegations.
Amazon doesn't know his guilt or innocence any more then we do, but they value guilt by association higher then 68 million dollars in damages. That is insane.

Yeah here is the thing: they were already associated with an alleged rapist. Everybody knew about the allegations. Everybody.

Amazon would have maybe a point if this info came out after they made this deal, but it didn't lol. All the allegations have been known for years. Amazon chose to work with him anyways(as have TONS of actors).
So yep, Amazon was in the wrong here. And nope: what they did isn't virtuous it is virtue signaling. And was it worth it? The SJW mob is never satisfied.
