The stats were misrepresented and it was specific to Obama's war against ISIS. A detail I didn't notice until recently. I was wrong in my triggering because I fell for misleading headlines.

I agree. Where my non-interventionalism ends and my interventionism begins is when we have vested interests and people involved. If, say, we had a US Owned company in that country, and it made billions of dollars and had thousands of employees, I'd probably inspect more diplomacy and stabilization options.
