It is weird to me that people would think that is funny or that it is cause for concern for a person's mental health. It is perfectly understandable to cry over something like that, imo, especially if you are a religious person.

From case law, doesn't this count as attempted murder? Could have sworn I read a case where cutting break lines got attempted murder charges. Sorry, drawing a blank on cases. On a call or I would just look it up for you.

I have no clue what it would count as, but IMO it should be considered attempted murder. This could have caused a fatal accident if the thug was a bit more competent.
And yet now the guy is back out on the street once again and he probably feels emboldened.
