Can't imagine anyone who knows anything about horses, would in good conscience treat a horse that way. Those are the actions of a sociopath or someone who enjoys hurting other living things.

Since he clearly knows how to setup and ride, his knowledge of horses and horseback riding are likely better than most. He knew what he was doing was terribly wrong. The fact that he did not even properly prep. and pad his saddle indicates he cut corners on purpose.

And even kids know what horseshoes are. Unsure if most people know there are different shoes for concrete/pavement vs. grass, though.

Anyway, he has a great message and a great organization. The man is a piece of shit, though.
