I liked how they say people will only be charged for "deliberate" property damage.
I'm going to guess they are going to be working with a very generous definition of the word "deliberate".
Likewise they say there will be "scrutiny" at resisting arrest charges, meaning they are going to try to justify resisting arrest in some cases.
No wonder the shithole has had 100+ days of violence.

Well, what else could they do. Arrest everyone in town?Suppression with tear gas. Or tanks?
There comes a tipping point where you end up batting a bee hive with a stick, and just making things worse.
So instead they drop all the charges and let the people committing violence go, so that they can go out and commit more violence. that will surely get the violence to stop.

Bro it's right here:
"Just 11 days into his new term as elected district attorney, Schmidt announced Tuesday that his office will decline to prosecute cases related to the protests that do not involve violence, theft, or deliberate property damage. His office will not pursue charges of disorderly conduct, interfering with a police officer, criminal trespass and most charges of rioting. There will be no change in how prosecutors handle cases like arson and assault.[/b]
Did you read the thing?
They arresting and prosecuting the violent people bruv

Sounds okay but I am not sure you can adequately separate out violence from interfering with a police officer. if you are stopping a cop from arresting someone, you have to use violence.
Criminal trespass, though? That's no okay. And most charges of rioting? Did they forget what rioting means? It's a violent protest.
No charge for arson or assault?
Dude, what is even the point of stating what they did? It's like they want to have their cake and eat it, too. This type of double-speak vaguery needs clarification. If you throw a Molotov cocktail at a police car or police station, will you be prosecuted or not? That's violence. That's also part of the protesting. So will they prosecute something like that, or not? Will they prosecute someone who forcefully pulls off or beats a cop trying to arrest a protesting/rioter breaking the law? If not, why aren't they addressing the violence. If yes, that contradicts their statement which in and of itself is contradictory.

Bingo. They left themselves some wiggle room when it comes to not charging for certain types of violence.

If these people were white supremacists do you think they would be getting these charges dropped?
Reminds me of a story of white opioid addicts being sent to rehab while black crack and heroin addicts were sent to prison. Interesting similarities between these two stories 🤔.....

OK, prove that all the cases that were dropped didn't involve theft, violence or property damage.

At least you kinda acknowledged the D.A. wouldn't be doing this if those arrested had a different ideology.
"A Different Ideology" AKA Modern Day Jingoist Fascism. You want to know the problem with Conservatives? They're the political version of pedophiles who swear their degeneracy is "Just Another Sexual Oreintation, bro!"

Let's not mince words here. Are you saying that Sexual Liberation is the Ultimate Path to Sexual Degeneracy, and are you going to ignore the MANY Conservatives and Catholics who have engaged in equivalent practices?

Let's not mince words here, are you supporting those on the left that are sexual harassers and predators?
