George Santos is the little darling of the Right who won in a NY district he was not favored to, then it comes out he's a pathological and compulsive liar and a criminal.

"The reason is propaganda of radical values: Today they have 70 genders, and who knows what will come next," Beslangurov said, echoing President Vladimir Putin's frequently deployed grievances against Western countries' comparative gender freedom.

DeSantis is shitting all over Florida with his Far-Right policies/idiocies. The GOP thinks this guy would be great president.

Other Republicans were afraid to run against DeSantis. Now that he is single-handedly destroying Florida, they see him as wounded, and are trying to take him down. I have lost count of how many Republicans are going to announce in the next week or two.

DeDantis thought taking on Disney would be the springboard he'd use to formally launch his presidential campaign. Disney has thoroughly owned him at every turn. Does he not realize they have all the money, the best lawyers and they bring his state in the most revenue?

All he has now is his weird labeling of everything he doesn't like as being "woke" and screaming at it.

The Republican state legislature has been a rubber stamp for DeSantis and his presidential ambitions. Their recent immigration law has caused agriculture and trucking in the state to implode. Businesses are losing money hand-over-fist, and he is tripling-down on a losing fight with the state's single largest employer. His political instincts are garbage, and his career is tanking. The entire state is circling the drain.

Over the past week, a sensational story has torn through local and national media: a local nonprofit said homeless veterans under its care had been kicked out of upstate hotels to make room for migrants bused from New York City. But the story has fallen apart over the past 48 hours, culminating Thursday evening with state Assemblyman Brian Maher, who had been advocating for the veterans in national media and in the state Legislature, denouncing it as false.

The story began to unravel Wednesday when the manager of the Newburgh hotel that had purportedly displaced veterans reported it had no dealings with the nonprofit. According to Maher's account, he was taken for a ride by Sharon Toney-Finch, CEO of Yerik Israel Toney Foundation.

Then on Friday, two men currently staying at a homeless shelter in Poughkeepsie reported they were among a group of 15 recruited a few days ago to portray homeless veterans displaced from upstate hotels by incoming migrants. In interviews, the men said two people came to the shelter, saying they had work for 15 men between the ages of 40 and 60. They would be paid $100 for two or three hours of effort, and no heavy lifting would be involved.

The two unhoused men were Douglas Tery, 55, and William, 52, who asked that his last name not be used. Tery and William were among the 15 who agreed to participate in the Wednesday event. They waited two hours for transportation, during which time William, who is on parole, asked the recruiters if the opportunity involved anything illegal. "They said, 'No, it's above-board,'" he said.

Seems George Santos' campaign treasurer was someone named "Andrew Olson", who is not federally registered and has a home address consisting in part of Santos' sister's former apartment and a commercial building...

Santos has since hired a new and known campaign treasurer 😂

Can you name yourself treasurer of your own political campaign? I assume there would be laws against that, not that laws mean anything to Rightist.

Anyhow, it seems like Santos was acting as his own campaign treasurer while using an imagined person as the cover.

Remember kids, if you don't talk about gay people and Black history in America, they don't exist. Seems to be DeSantis' tactic.

Republican politicians are offering to help move black people out of the state, since it is hostile to them.

It is almost like a white ethnostate is what their policies are designed to accomplish.

He's going further and further to the Far-Right with his policies, anti gay, anti women, anti Black, draconian abortion laws, looser gun laws, banning books and speech, while labeling everything he doesn't like as "woke", trying to cater to what he believes appeals to the Republican/Conservatives majority.
