Doctor Doom -Vs- Superman

Who wins?

How f#::ked i would Superman be if today Doctor Doom replaced Lex Luthor as his main villian in DCU comics ?

What makes Doctor Doom so powerful?

Imagine a man who is nearly as brilliant as Reed Richards. An expert in engineering, particle physics, chemistry, and a dozen other sciences.

Imagine a man who spends nearly as much time working on and perfecting his power armor as Tony Stark (with slightly less ADHD-like tendencies).

Imagine a man who just barely lost out to Dr. Strange in the contest to be deemed Sorcerer Supreme of Earth. A man who has fought and defeated godlike, interdimensional beings on more than one occasion.

Imagine a mortal man who is nearly as ruthless and manipulative as Apocalypse, then give him his own legitimate (albeit small) nation to rule as his own.

Then smash all of these men together into one man, and you have Doctor Doom.

...and Superman would still win.

Doom obviously wins.

A lot of Doom's longevity is also due to his diplomatic immunity. Does he have it here?

Remember everyone: Doom is a sorcerer who is now millions of years old. Of course he beats Superman.

But we will ignore the story Marvel has ignored. Normal Doom would just steal Superman's powers, take over the world. Eventually he'd get bored and they'd get stolen back.

The only chance Doom has is the same as Batman or Luthor have vs Superman. They only have a chance because Superman is a nice guy.

Vs a serious Superman they don't stand a chance and Doom will run like in the crossover classics to his embassy.
