What if Maul killed Obi-Wan in the Clone Wars

Instead of losing to Obi-Wan on Florrum, what if Maul managed to outduel and kill Obi-Wan instead?

If Filoni died we would still get Maul. For better or worse.

Yeah but someone else might have treated him better. In fact Anyone would have treated Maul better than the way Filoni did in Rebels.
