Lois & Clark montage...

That is REALLY well made, even if it does include Smallville.

I like the first two seasons before Lana became insufferable, and I like the last couple of seasons because of the JSA stuff and Michael Shanks. Everything in between can take a running jump.

I also feel like it got some things fundamentally wrong about Superman, but that's a different conversation altogether.

Oh ok. Personally i liked L&C best of all

I'm a massive fan of Lois and Clark. It had its silliness, but I really liked Cain's Superman and Hatcher's Lois.

If not Reeve, Cain would be the GOAT.

The only real issue I had with Cain was that his Clark honestly felt a bit smug at times. That kind of "how do these dumb mother****ers not see that I'm Superman" thing.

Which Reeve?

John Shea was a great Lex

Nice strawman there, considering you're the one that said "shitty New 52".

New 52 Superman was shit throughout.

I guess Phil Jimenez, but that's a bit of a cop out, since he's one of my favorite artists, period. He did Infinite Crisis, for a popular example.

Cop out or not, he is really good.

I love me some Ed Benes too.

So are we just forgetting Grant Morrison's run on AC and the early arcs of JL?

If you say you just meant the first run of the actual Superman comic, I'll forgive you, because that got pretty bad at times.

Grant Morrison's work was only saving grace for new 52 Superman.

Johns Superman was just an angry brute. There is not a single noteworthy moment for Superman in Justice League other than he beats Hal, tried to choke out batman and beats Flash.

Oh and tried to attack Diana for almost kissing Steve Trevor. Way to go Johns.

Superman was a non entity in Justice League, you could remove him from the team altogether and it would hardly change any story.

Can't say I agree, but if that's what you thought of it, that's what you thought of it.

Your post in general.

Except the Steve Trevor thing. That just sounds weird, and indicative of the slump he went through later in the run.
