The other showcased crazy power as well. He was just going against the most powerful being on the planet. Moment before Thor and Hulk fought, the writer had Storm say this about Hulk.

Hulk then proceeds to fight Thor not too long after this. Thor Warrior Madness had him fight and do pretty good against the most powerful being on the planet.
