I will admit, I was let down when Jon showed up at Dragonstone and just started talking business. I thought there would be a scene showing Jon seasick, or his awe at being in a non-winter environment. Besides his shock of the dragons, there was nothing that established the fact that this was his first time being out of the North in possibly a good decade or more.
