Cenk stuck to the topic and this overall was a very substantial debate which is what we need more of. It wasn't Cenk just misquoting someone from years ago and yelling racist (like he did with Dinesh). So I'll give props to Cenk there. He stuck to the topics and tried to bring up points to back up his claim.
Of course a negative I have on his performance was when Cenk called the audience uneducated and simply told people to Google it. That's not going to win him any new supporters. And it made him look kind of defeated. He should have focused that ire more towards Shapiro instead of the audience. Up to that point Cenk handled the audience well. When people were booing Shapiro (quite loudly), Cenk did try to quiet them down. That was a very good moment for Cenk.
Cenk did try to deflect some questions or just out-right avoid them. So I wish he would have handled those moments more.
Overall, I'd say this was probably Cenk's best debate performance he has ever had and it shows that he prepped for it.
And of course what irked me the most with Shapiro was how he pronounced "Keynseian." Keynseian comes from an economist named Keynes and Keynes rhymes with planes. But overall, I think Shapiro handled the debate phenomenally and even dealt some standout moments like when Shapiro asked Cenk, "Was the money not speech? It was just money after all; it’s just like a hooker, I assume. so, are you the prostitute? How did this work?"

And Ben failed majorly on several points such as economy and healthcare. But Ben won this, no problem.
Care to elaborate on what points Shapiro failed at??
