"Physically" beating down Logan is always gonna b a temporary cure. Even if he is ground into paste, as long as any of his dna survives in-tact, he's back.
I guess, theoretically, the Atom or Ant-Man can diminish in size, until they r able to locate and destroy EVERY dna strand, one to one. Because, regardless of most power levels, some dna will probably survive. I guess that still counts as accomplishing it "physically".
I know Superman has shown a large range of powers over the years and possibly the ability to sprout new ones.
With his speed and sight, Superman could, arguably, sort out and isolate every single cell and dna strand in Logans body and destroy it, until there r none left.
Best I got.
Originally posted by HorrificusThat wouldn't work at all. Destroying his cell nuclei one by one like that would certainly be too slow to overcome his healing factor. The intact cells would produce new cells at a MUCH faster rate than the Atom could destroy them. There are approximately 100 trillion cells (1E14) in a human body: if it took only 1 second for the Atom to destroy the DNA in a single cell it would take him 3 million years to destroy all the DNA in Logan's body assuming his cellular regeneration was somehow magically frozen in place. But even a normal human could reproduce new cells (and their DNA content) waaaaay faster than that.

Besides, the DNA is just a storage of genetic information. Logan's healing factor has already "been built" according to those instructions: what's already there doesn't require DNA to exist. Thus, if the Atom were to destroy the DNA in Logan's cell nucleus the healing factor would just repair that cell super-fast along with its DNA. Or consume the dead cell and generate a new one in its place, depending on the extent of damage to the cell.
