the team definitely stomps mission 1 & 2, but i kinda doubt that they can clear the rest w/o real tactician/strategist in their side

I don't think tacticians are required when your entire team solos armies, but fine. Swap Hawkeye for Captain America if you want.

soloing armies doesn't equate that they can clear a mission that requires deep strategy/tactics, for example how will they assassinate kim jong un w/o using any guns/explosives? or how can they stop ozy from executing his plan w/o any intel about him etc.

5-17 members?

I think you should set a hard limit. And closer to 5 than 17.

Okay, add Cap. There's your tactician. You've got your one-man armies, you've got expert covert assassins/spies in the face of Bond, Bourne, Bishop, McCall, Wick, and Widow, you've got great intel guys between Tool, Drummer, and Mr. Church, and you have the best tech guy around with Q.

I think I've got the bases covered.

did mcu cap showed any high end tactics/strategy in the movies? assassin's/spies are kinda useless w/o type of strategy/tactics

the intel guys should be able to help tho but not that much especially if they are going to go against the CIA, MI6 , The Kingsman Agency & Ozymandias

Yeah, 5-17 is a pretty huge range. I applaud Psychotron for having the energy to make a proper reply for this.

Cap has lead the Avengers against aliens, robots, and themselves. He managed to contain the destruction in the first Avengers and save as many people as possible in the AoU. He's got what it takes.

*lead the assault with the help of his fellow avengers

and iirc it was tony who was the teams tactician/strategist.

I haven't seen the movie since it came out, but I remember Steve giving orders and directions. Tony was more of tech/science specialist.

it was more like a team coordination than him giving orders.

Well, that's what I had in mind.

Can they complete the series of missions in any order they choose, or is it gauntlet style, in order only?

If I came up with a team, I'd rather them take out guerillas, terrorists, and the clandestine operative groups first and leave China for last.
