Many african americans have changed the meaning among their own culture. Its being a word use in mainstream rap for over 2 decades. Jay-Z was dropping all night at one of clintons rallys, no one cared. The word has been changed among african americans to mean, brother, close friend etc. Hence when Dezel anf others in the mainstream uses it from time to time saying "my n****." I have heard many other people saying it in that connotation.

True. There are people alive today who, if they didn't experience it themselves, have family who did.

Spielberg had Megan Fox fired for making a Hitler joke about Bay.

Bay didn't care one bit, but for Spielberg the holocaust is too close and personal to ever joke about.

It's a crappie subject to discuss with out having an agenda to put forth. The symbol itself has way more history than German socialism though.
