Is the Hound wearing a mask? Because otherwise he gets skewered in the face.

The Hound does have a big dog helmet, which he has used in the show.

Hector beat Ajax whose actually bigger than Hector and he was the only one to get any sort of hit on Achilles so he's uber skilled so I can see him beating the Hound decisively
