that was shitty of them. still not treason, though.
i don't care what they do with the washington memorial tbh. what i don't want to see is statues honoring treasonous insurgents who were rightly squashed and defeated. there are no statues in america honoring king george. no likenesses of benedict arnold. where's that timothy mcveigh statue?
what makes long-dead traitor confederate soldiers so special? they tried to destroy this country. they lost. they're dead. fuk em 👆
According to an intelligence bulletin, the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security warned in May "that white supremacist groups had already carried out more attacks than any other domestic extremist group over the past 16 years and were likely to carry out more attacks over the next year."
Twice this year, Democrats on the House Homeland Security Committee have urged Republican leaders to hold hearings on the security threats posed by white supremacists and their allies, and in both instances, GOP officials ignored the requests.
Conservatives insisted that concerns about violent radicals could implicate mainstream activists on the right. Some GOP members of Congress even called for the resignation of the DHS Secretary.
Now domestic extremists are committing politically-motivated violence just as they were warned. It reminds me of the "Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in U.S." memo.

I actually agree with Snowdragon, take them down and put them in a museum, as they're a symbol of American history, a not pleasant part, but still a part. Just note "this is general *name*, he fought it *battles*, he was a traitor to America"
I also think we really need to stop this PC bullshit and just call Confederates and the Confederacy what it really was, Domestic Terrorist. The Confederate flag is the flag of terrorist; it was raised as an anti-America symbol.

It's like they feel if they don't discuss it; it's not happening.

NBC NEWS: Man Charged in Oklahoma City Bomb Plot After Domestic Terrorism InvestigationFederal authorities are holding a man in custody Monday whom domestic terrorism investigators said planned and tried to execute an anti-government bombing of an Oklahoma City bank.
Documents filed in federal district court say that Jerry Drake Varnell, 23, drove what he believed was a stolen van containing a 1,000-pound ammonium nitrate bomb early Saturday morning to an alley beside BancFirst in downtown Oklahoma City.
Varnell is an anti-government radical, who said in a Facebook message he thought would be posted after his plot succeeded, that the bombing was in "retaliation" for the "freedoms that have been taken away from the American people."
This happened days after White House advisor Sebastian Gorka said, "[From the left] it's this constant, 'Oh, it's the white man. It's the white supremacists. That's the problem.' No, it isn't."

In times of tragedy one must try to see the positives in life. This event gave plenty of Dems opportunities to virtue signal and resign. Good stuff.Moral high ground=guaranteed
Honestly, this post just tells us that you're still fuming over Trump throwing the White Supremacist under the bus, thereby scuttling your 'them too!' angle you had going for days.

Honestly, just because you keep saying people are fuming means nothing anymore Rob. The amount of BS you have pulled of things you label "enraged" has made your opinions moot on that lol.
