True.

If he tries to redirect Sidious' Lightning he will be smoked in short order.

A limit for the amount of energy he can redirect hasn't been established. This is a possibility.

Sidious is entire miles ahead of Corran. To parry one's Lightning with your hands means you have to be at least comparable to them, let alone redirect it.

I'm assuming you were talking about Tutaminis. No one can redirect Sidious' Lightning with a lightsaber because by ROTS Sidious could bend blades. We all know DE Sidious>>ROTS Sidious.

Undeniably.

What is this based on? Were the lightsabers that people blocked using this technique of comparable power to the force users who blocked them? Was the spring Corran used the technique on relatively as powerful as Corran?

It doesn't have to be completely redirected to change the outcome of the fight. Imagine Sidious being surprised that Corran survived and used Sidious' energy against him-or simply survived because of the technique, breaking his concentration and giving his teammates a brief opportunity. It may not be a big chance, but it can create one.

I think it is possible for someone to redirect Sidious' lightening, with or without a lightsaber. It'd likely be a short list, but it can be done.

Well, they don't have to exactlybd comparable to parry with a lightsaber but the thing is that Sidious is far more powerful than the ROTS iteration that renders lightsabers useless (bending Windu's blade) and thus no one can properly parry DE Sidious' Lightning with a blade.

That could happen, but Sidious is just too powerful. Corran might deflect or absorb his Lightning for a fraction of a second but not more if Sidious unleashes his full power. The only person who can redirect Sidious' Lightning (and even then, I'm not sure) is GM Luke.

LMAO, Palpatine doesn't stand any chance whatsoever at clearing. From 4 on-ward he gets raped.

They are in character and Sidious is extremely arrogant, willing to toy with his opponents at times. I just thought this was an interesting, if slight, possibility.

Small chance for Sidious in round 3. Dies in Round 4.

He is not going to toy against so many people if he wants to survive.

Palpatine sure as hell isn't stopping at 4, lmao.
He can one-shot anyone on that team effortlessly, they don't register as a threat.
