If that's the case then I think you have nothing to worry about. I don't think the Washington monument would ever successfully pass a nationwide vote for removal.
But again, if it did somehow pass, oh well. Obviously people would be allowed to be mad about it, but what can you do?

It is true, people in DC have no federal representation in the federal government other then nationwide votes.

Exodus is fiction. Jews do not even believe the Hebrews were slaves in Egypt, let alone historians. The construction of the pyramids were large-scale civic projects that involved architects, engineers, and skilled laborers.
