Should Germany tear down its Nazi past?

Should the major cities like Berlin tear down the Gastapo headquaters, Hitlers bunker, the rest of the Berlin wall. Should Munich tear down the gas chamber Dachau. Should Auschwitz concentration camp be bulldozed?

No. Let the memory live on so most people know just how awful that was and nobody makes the same mistake.

IDK...I think it has historical significance. Something you can learn from.

it's not like these structures were erected long after the war as a callback to the good ol' 30's/40's,
and as a hostile message to jews/gays/liberals/gypsies/etc. so i dont think the narrative fits.

I don't believe you should tear it down. It's like you're trying to act like people didn't suffer horrific tragedies. It should be a place where we remember the worst we have to offer as a species and hopefully learn to not make the same mistakes again.

The gestapo headquarters were mostly destroyed by bombing and then totally demolished. Dachau isn't in Munich. Auschwitz isn't even in Germany (pretty sure if they wanted to demolish it that would involve invading Poland which is what started all the problems in the first place) and the Berlin didn't start getting built until the 1960s

Who cares is Auschwitz isnt directly in Germany, cut the crap. The premise it is a German relic. Danchu is close to Munich and its considered in close proxemity to Munich. And the Berlin wall was put up because if Nazi Germany. Its part of history of it. So you pretty much just lied about everything and or dont know history or geographic locations.

Yeah. The Gestapo headquarters are still up. The one in Warsaw..... In Poland.

The one in Berlin is now the Topography of Terror museum. Which I've been in. It was built 7 years ago.
