Alan wins. Starbrand lacks the feats with the new guy.

As I've said before, him stating or being stated to have the power to destroy a planet doesn't necessarily mean he's relegated to having just that amount of power(planet busting).
_
For starters a team of Avengers were basically ineffectual against him the very day he became Starbrand._ Three of which are three of the most powerful heroes and each with planetary and beyond feats(Thor, Hulk, Hyperion)._
_
He's also faced off against the restless spirit of a "Monster God of the Cosmos". A sentient sun for all intents and purposes who was going to turn earth into a new sun(new body)..__

After forcibly disconnecting Kolobus from its human host, we see it's true form._ Since it's literally the essence of sentient sun, it's not surprising that its true size dwarfs the earth._ It even considers the Starbrand some sort of cosmic peer.

Heck in your own scans he faced off 3 villains channeling the power of abstracts. Three of Eternity's children… "Explosion spirit of the big bang", "Gravitation spirit of the big crunch", and "Entropy spirit of the big freeze".

And they were literally trying to kill him. He fought them for two issues and held out long enough for Nightmask to sever their connection to their human proxies. Consequently he owned the three cassually after the connection loss.

http://oi64.tinypic.com/2mhezja.jpgAnd just for reference Kolobus the sentient sun was unable to hold back the Starbrand of Kree Pama. Kinda helps put things into perspective.

http://oi68.tinypic.com/2nvtsmx.jpgLet's look.
He's been portrayed beyond some of the most powerful heralds as a rookie which he still is btw.
He's faced off a sentient sun.
He's survived against three bloodlusted abstracts.
He's atomized the physical form of a beyonder.
He has cassually destroyed almost the entire Builder fleet. So all in all relegating Starbrand to just "planetary power" just doesn’t jive when you look at his feats. What does "planetary power" even mean?

Not saying he wins, but he has some feats.
Dude, Starbrand was being attacked by 3 abstracts one of them was ENTROPY! 😱
A) How come I've never seen this before
B) How did another SB fan not wank this monstrous showing?
For people who don't know who Entropy is, look him up. He's monstrously powerful.

Where does that place him now then?
Above captain universe?
Kevin is still too new with the Starbrand, but even so, I don't think that Alan has the power to one shot him, he'd have to work pretty hard if 3 Abstracts weren't able to kill him. I get the impression that if, or when Kevin knows how to use the Starbrand like a pro that he'd have no trouble standing up to Alan. Guess we'll have to wait and see. On the other hand, he's proven that he is far above characters like the Silver Surfer.
