Facts should matter all the time, but with some on the left they do not. For instance, right now the facts do not matter. But when Trump makes a comment about the size of the crowd at his inauguration...suddenly details matter.
On the other hand it seems some on the left are also at least realizing that this whole business of "one set of rules for us, another for everyone else" will no longer be tolerated. So there is some silver lining to all this.
