Green Lantern Vs Gladiator

One depends on willpower, the other confidence.
Thought that was a good dynamic to pit against each other.

Gladiator wins.

Hal on average, assuming he hasn't been depowered recently or something.

Gladiator would lose badly to Guy/John, nevermind Hal/Kyle.

I would think confidence is tied to willpower so it seems mostly the same, but that is moot.

I guess it depends on which version of Gladiator. Some would be able to win via speedblitz. He can swim through stars and destroy small planets in a few punches. I have no idea how strong current Gladiator is though.

Feats should never allow a person to ignore the power level of characters that they argue against though. Hal isn't slapping Gladiator around and molesting him. Hal would have his hands full even if he possibly won this. Let's not forget that guys at Gladiator's level of strength have smashed through Hal's constructs like they were Mega Bloks. Lobo did it, and in space without his bike no less. Hal in any comic book would have his hands full.

Lobo also tosses stars around despite not having any leverage.

honestly i'm not convinced glads would beat wendell (quasar) for a majority and wendell is good, i'd put him in stewart's tier, so no way i could see him beating hal at his best. make him work? i could see that most of the time, but if we assume both at their best hal takes him almost every time.

yeah typical carver. i'm sure he's talking about the time quasar couldn't bfr him. but that was barely a fight. wendel's shields have withstood simultaneous beatings from hulk, herc and a bunch of others. if he didn't want to be touched, he wouldn't have been, and had he really wanted to fight with the gloves off, like he did against thanos for example, or the watcher, or even the ss, i don't think glads could take him.
