If any of that were true then JL would blow Avengers away at the box office. But YOU KNOW it won't even come close.
Superman and Batman are guaranteed bank. Even SR and BB grossed a lot when translated into modern box office.
WW was the last big Icon left to be introduced on the big screen. So it's success was Much like the first SM. it just needs to be "good" not "amazing" to kill it at the box office (which I predicted).
Completely contrary to Marvel Phase I, where every movie HAD TO work and HAD TO bring a certain level of quality for the MCU to survive. Avengers being the biggest superhero box office of all time with B-List characters speaks for itself.
