I remember how when the stories of looting first were out people were decrying anyone criticizing, saying they need food and water(I'd agree with them). That logic was destroyed when people were carrying out flat screen tv's as well. To be fair, I guess if there was a lot of flooding and you had a big enough flat screen tv you could float on top of it?

Speaking of the weather though I would suppose climate change might indeed be fair to discuss with this. I may have been too hasty not to discuss it before.

Trump hasn't been in office long, so we can't place it on his shoulders, but what steps do people feel Obama could have taken within the last 8 years that might have lessened the chance of storms of this magnitude? This is not trolling, I am genuinely interested in suggestions. Preferably ones that would not involve a boatload of people losing their jobs.

People are dead, others have lost homes, etc. These people are worried that people who had abortion appointments will not be able to get to them...?

Also I'm confused. Why...if this is just donating money so a person can get an abortion, why does having been in an area with a hurricane mean your abortions should get priority? If clinics and stuff are closed...what is money going to do? It is not like they are sending in doctors to specifically perform abortions in emergency areas.

I am at a loss as to why survivors of a natural disaster should get special focus on when it comes to something like abortion. It is almost like they are exploiting this disaster to get people to donate money so people who, even if the disaster never happened, could not afford an abortion can now get one. That is slimey.

Here is probably the best commentary you can hope for on stuff like that photo: they acknowledge Trump is showing emotion, doing something good, etc. But either directly before that or directly after that they will remark on how he apparently didn't show enough empathy before. Or the will point out some other mistake Trump made. They *need* to get their digs in at this man, and will stop at nothing to do so.

People shooting at fire fighters and other rescue workers. People posing as fire fighters and rescue workers in order to tell people to evacuate and then ransack their house. People looting stores for non-essential items. People going out there to "rescue" people, but also to rob them.

Some of that I get, but I do not excuse. I get the "rescue" and rob, I get the impersonating rescue workers to get people to leave their homes. I even get looting non-essential items. The goal is to steal, they get something out of it, though it is not right at all. But shooting at firefighters and other rescuers...why? I don't understand, I don't see what is to be gained at all.
