Nonsense. The priestesses were able to do what they want with yoda, why would palpatine be different?

Anyway, there's prolly an argument to be made for how the priestesses are holistically portrayed, but it's unclear what exactly are the scope of their abilities.

I'm doubting they fall under the jurisdiction of the quotes calling the father the most powerful force user ever.

The priestesses seem to embody the force more than they use it.

The Priestesses are confirmed to just be some old Jedi who could become Force Spirits. The Ones are also noted as embodiments of the Force, tho.

That doesn't imply what you think it implies.

They didn't have power over the place of total darkness, not sidious himself.

Given they were taking Yoda where they wanted abd teleporting him around, I think it's obvious that Sidious isn't standing up to them in a fight.

That being said, I doubt that's a limitation that would apply to the ones.
