Yeah, even Yamcha feels more likely at this point to get a Toriyama handjob than Tien.

Chaotzu blows himself in an effort to kill Tien, but kills Yamcha by mistake. Tien simultaneously gets himself killed for no reason other than being Tien.

Yamcha survived being in the middle of a fight between beerus and champa. Tien on the other hand only gas moves tgat weaken him and are only about kamehameha level anyway. Yamcha wins

Goku picked Tien over Yamcha which autos put him over Yamcha. I learned this debating concept in the Anime section.
