well, when you drop by every 3 months you DO tend to miss things. not usually very much, but, on occasion.....

I actually check in on the Movie Vs forum fairly often, I look in on the BZ as well, but that gets posts less often than I come in here.

What's the deal with this anyway? I read the first 3 pages, then the last 2. There are teams now? it's a single post thing? idk.

Ok, so my post is ready, but whenever I try to upload, I'm told it has too many characters. It does not.

How do I fix this?

You'll have to unfortunately keep cutting stuff out.

I kept doing a count and it said it was 9900 characters, but still I had to cut it out.

You could have ID verify that it's the proper amount on Google docs and then just use that as your post by sharing a link. People shouldn't have to suffer because KMC is falling apart.

Actually, that's not new iirc. KMC will add the [ img ] tags before and after your links that push up the character count (or something similar). I've done that 10K dance more times than I count, even after thinking it was short enough.

Submitting today. It took a while for me and my 16 teammates to really cook up a plan that will make sure we beat DS in the most humiliating way possible.

we've all been there... keep it to under 9500 and you never run into problems. even easier when you only need 21 characters: "enoyreve no eht dleif eid"

I had to trim my post from 15000 characters to 8700.

Suffice to say, it was torture.

I think that when they check the character count, they also filter out bullshit.

So it won't let you post that.

it's still a single post, but secret alliances could be formed by members if they chose. i liked the idea. added a layer of complexity and paranoia that has been lacking in other efforts like this. lol
