How did TPM Obi-wan Defeat Maul when he didn't have the High Ground?
In RotS, Obi-Wan managed to defeat the more powerful Vader due to the former having the "high ground".
This is in stark contrast to TPM where the inferior Obi-Wan managed to defeat Darth Maul in a similar fashion to how he defeated Vader in RotS, despite Maul having the high-ground.
How could this be?

Clearly not.
Kenobi was ready for Anakin to make a move. In that scenario Anakin had no chance of overpowering Kenobi (although he could have stalemated by just staying put).
Maul on the other hand, thinking Kenobi had no weapon, just let his guard down and got taken by surprise. Was still a legitimate victory for Obi-Wan, but depended on Maul letting his guard down.
