Ah sad that he was going to call it stops in a few months to spend more time with his granddaughter and then he dies.

Still, dude probably had a great life and will be remembered fondly for decades to come, even if kicking it at 66 is early.

It makes it sound like he died but they weren't supposed to tell people he died.

Told my Mom I was bummed Tom Petty had died, she said "The race car driver?" I was like "No that was Richard Petty and he's just really old not dead."
