Did Jiren live up to his hype???

What do you all think? Should he have been more powerful or was what was shown enough power displayed???

He didn't even display full power, not even against LGoku.

Yes he easily did, the guy is a monster.

I just hope that they don't make Hit standing any chance and if Hit hit him and seemingly giving Jiren some trouble is because Jiren is playing with him.

Hit should be way out of his league here.

Someone mentioned (I didn't see it myself and don't know if it's real) that a new poster has been revealed that 4 warriors remaining are Goku, Gohan, Hit and an unknown warrior and that Jiren is not one of them!

It's said that ToP will end at the end of november, so who knows.

How's this any different then Brolly?

Because Brolly was a character, not just a mute final boss with no backstory.

Plus there was better pacing, as in it HAD pacing, and it actually showed off his power instead of having everyone talk about it.

Jiren is omniversal, so of course he did.

Jiren lived up to his > Beerus hype.

Goku was shocked at how easily he did it he even stoped attacking and Jiren wasnt even tryin.

Current LB Goku was still no match for him later on he might be though...

I guess for DBS standards, but it would've been a lot better had Jiren already been an established character slowly developed over a couple of arcs as opposed to be dropped out of nowhere all of the sudden as a guy with relatively "bigger bigger" numbers than the previous antagonist of the previous arc. It's the equivalent to introducing the yonkous (concept included) of One Piece in the same arc Luffy fights and defeats them all in.

Love Jiren. No backstory is needed (even though I think we are going to get one).

That statement was only said once. Remember, in order for statements to be legit in DBS, it needs to be said more than once, 12 times minimum. I learned this from KMC grand ones.
