Loki vs Ares

Ares has come to Asgard to ask Loki for help in destroying humanity. Loki rejects Ares offer due to Loki simply wanting to Rule them.

Who would win in a fight?

Remus Lupin loses.

Loki gets beat badly.

Ares has many of the same tricks as Loki but on a higher level and with far superior physical ability.

Could you please specify Loki's arsenal: Does he have the Scepter or Odin's Scepter?

Couldn't Ares use his powers to take away the daggers? Also wasn't he only able to be killed because WW was specifically created for that purpose?

He'd have to know Loki was there and Loki has a habit of sneaking up on people and stabbing them in the back just ask Coulson.

He was killed by Wonder Woman, yes. But it's not exactly like he has a lot of Feats of tanking damage. So saying that he can only be killed by Wonder Woman would be a massive No Limits fallacy.

Wasn't he completely covered is molten steel or whatever and not harmed?

Also it's hard to say if sneaking is a factor. The OP says Ares shows up to ask for help and Loki rejects him.

Although the OP never stated it. Loky wins assuming he has possession of his scepter, or Odin's one. Or maybe the Frost.

Just like Coulson was talking to Loki just before getting stabbed in the back and Ares was manipulating the metal with his powers. we don't know that is was actually making contact with his skin.

I'm certain Ares has this one. He has the strength and durability to engage Wonder Woman, be completely unscratched by two huge explosions, coupled with Telekinesis (or Magnetisme) I simply don't see Loki taking down Ares, regardless of Loki's illusions.
