What would you pick in a Zombie Apocalypse?

The world goes full-on Walking Dead and you have to choose a weapon.

You can either take a pistol, with one full 12 round clip, or you can take a machete. But you can't take both. So, you either have a limited means of protecting yourself at range, or you have a weapon that doesn't require ammo, but needs you to be up close to use it. Of course, if you can survive long enough down the line, you could potentially find other weapons eventually. But this thread is about your initial choice.

So, which would you choose?

I'd probably choose the pistol and put a bullet in my head. Who really wants to live in a world overrun by zombies?

Eh, the zombie part isn't that bad, assuming slow-ass TWD zombies. It's all the other d***head survivors that are the issue.

Pick up the pistol, shoot you, take your machete.

Machete, easily.

We're talking slow wondering zombies or fast running zombies?

Any kind of zombie and everyone dies. There's no happy ending to that story.

Z-Nation zombies. So, their speed varies depending on how fresh they are. At least that's how they operated when I still watched that show.
