I think it varied from person to person. Some, like Ravage, probably felt they stood to gain from it, for example. The others likely felt it too risky to gamble on whether or not Baras was lying, and let it slide. Either way, I don't think the idea that Baras or the Wrath could solo the DC is very well supported by the material...
Well all of them seemed somewhat convinced besides Vowrawn, who knows it's BS but still considers Baras almost indestructible. Marr for example doesn't dare interfere.
It's especially telling, because they all knew Darth Venamis, Baras' master and former DC member. Who we know Baras wouldn't dare try and usurp himself so he sent the Wrath to do it. So Baras went from being an inferior to Venamis, to quite possibly being an Emperor's Voice. An insane jump at any rate.

Yea, if they don't think the dude who beat Baras could take them on collectively, I doubt they thought Baras could.
Marr's talking to Nox not the Wrath, Baras has nothing to do with it.
Please keep displaying your utter ignorance regarding TOR Kbro, not at all hilarious.

@kbro:Based on the wording, Marr's seemingly referring to the Dark Council individually - the "us" is used to refer to them.
Marr's not saying that only the combined power could triumph over Nox, rofl.
