Well, he always came off as kind of a dick to me, but i gave him the benefit of the doubt.
The look on his face near the end as Sam noticed he was enjoying things pretty much said it all, though.

It was a kick ass ending imo. Our heroes back to back against insurmountable odds which they will of course mount.

And i dont think we’ve seen the last of

Spoiler:
Jack
, though his corpse was pretty sad to look at.

Yeah the guy who played Chuck did a great job in this episode. And yeah

Spoiler:
Jack will more than likely return early next season or mid season in order to help fight God. I just don't know if at the end that entity made of black was supposed to be Lucifer or the entity from the empty. I thought it was the entity but then I was reading a review and they said it was Lucifer

I wasnt sure who it was, tbh, but i figure ALL the big guns are going to be needed next season, to deal w. the situation...

I almost wonder if it wasn't the entity from the empty that's creating the havoc. It's gotta be pretty upset, Lucifer almost getting pulled out, and junk.

I think its what it looks like, personally.

Spoiler:
Chuck’s just a dick.

Someone pointed out to me that someone pointed out to him, the first ever Chuck appearance was in an ep. titled “THE MONSTER AT THE END OF THE BOOK”. Might just have been a hint...

Lol so I'm bumping this just because it has been announced Jared Padalecki(Sam) is going to play Walker Texas Ranger in a reboot of the show.

Okay so I think he is great as Sam, but this just seems like a strange choice.

I heard about this!

I wouldn’t mind a reboot at all. Jared is Texas Native, so, yee haw(!) on that score. Minus the MA, Jared’s a big intimidating guy, and it’d be nice to see him in a different role after so long.
I hear CW has shown interest, as they have a good working relationship w. Jared, and CBS is interested as well, being the home of the reboot (Magnum PI, SWAT, Hawaii 5-o, MacGyver...), and having aired Walker for 8 seasons.

Who tf wants a Texas Ranger reboot?

^^^Besides you?

When you're in texas look behind youuu...cuz that's where a rangers gonna be.

End of an era: today is the final season premiere we will ever have.

YouTube video

If any mod sees this is there any chance you can change the title of this thread so that it just says "Supernatural" ? Thanks in advance.

Anyways, so this was a very solid season opener. So we know that

Spoiler:
3 billion souls from hell have been released. Every door in hell is open, including the door to the cage. Which means Michael can leave whenever he wants, but apparently so far he has chosen not to leave. Sam is wounded after shooting God and it can't be healed. Sam speculates that God is no longer around and has moved on to a new universe, but I'm not convinced.

Also...

Me at the start of the episode: It's a shame Jack is gone, I miss that character

Me 5 minutes after Belphegar is introduced: Jack? Jack who?

Pretty solid premiere. It set up some good plot lines for the season. Can’t wait to see what comes of them!

Kinda bummed CBS didn’t get it; I would have liked it to be part of their shared action show universe.

13 years wow, can't believe I stopped watching this halfway through season 2.

You aint really missed much. The show is pretty much Wash Rinse Repeat. Ohh New New Monster! Quick find the convienently created MacGuffin that will solve the Problem...yaddayaddayadda

Nah he's missed a lot. He's missed Cas.

I want a spin off with just Castiel and Crowley driving around in Cas's Big Ol Car.

WHY CAN'T I GET THAT SHOW!

Class had one line in the premiere that just cracked me up, when Sam & Dean said they’d all starve to death, and Cass pointed out he wouldn’t. 😆

Also gotta love how apparently there was this powerful spell casting demon that hell just...decided to keep in hell, torturing souls. Oh yeah yeah lets send random demons after the Winchesters and not this f*cker.

God thought the Game of Thrones ending was great? Holy shit he *is* evil.
