Production on the final two eps hasn’t started yet, is tentatively scheduled to begin Tuesday.

The first of the series’ final seven episodes will premiere at 8 p.m. Thursday, October 8.

I think they'll be able to hit the premiere date they want. They already have 5 episodes shot that only need post op.

To put it bluntly: the show repeated a lot of story lines over the years, yet still lasted 15 years. The characters make it good.

And the show only ended cuz the cast decided.

Yeah, but the fact the show is ending is all the more real now.

And of course Jared Padalecki tweeted out a "spoiler" that was merely just a picture of a sign that says "it will end in tears".

I think Sam and Dean having a "happy" ending has pretty much always been off the table. The best they can hope for is that they don't end up in hell or the empty when they die.

And heaven in Supernatural is also kind of disturbing. There is no family reunion really, you might get lucky and end up sharing a heaven with a soul mate, but you won't ever see your parents or grand parents or siblings again. You will be stuck with one person in the same place forever.

I honestly wonder which is truly hell. Cuz Pamela's "nonstop musical performance" sure sounds like hell. Is a basketball lovers heaven gonna be one endless game? That sounds horrific. I think about my favorite food and how if I was forced to eat it everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner I would quickly grow tired of it and even begin to hate it.

And I’ve never been impressed w. the show’s Heaven. It’s always seemed pretty ghetto, while trying to seem otherwise.
Hell on the other hand has always just been what it is, and some thrive there, if they’re smart enough.

Since it has been said that soulmates can share a heaven what I really don't want to see is Sam and Dean both die and end up in a shared heaven lol. I'm sure the show would play it as due to their brotherly bond, but the fanfic writers would cream their pants.
