Supernatural Season 13

Yup, God has wiped out all of creation except for one universe it seems.

I always found it weird none of the other men of letters chapters ever came to try to check in or go to the bunker after abaddon. The one guy who survived her massacre went into hiding, so why did he never contact any of the other chapters?

I’d totally forgotten about that little plot hole...!
Scared shitless, maybe?

You would think the british men of letters would have the resources to find the guy, but who knows.

Yeah there’s no real -good- explanation for it.
My personal head canon just figures the guy’s gone into hiding, having been broken mentally.

New ep. tonight!
Last week’s was decent. Not as fun as Mrs. Butters, but I enjoyed seeing Cas and Jack work together, trying to do a “Sam & Dean”.

Yeah and a rare instance of them hunting a normal person.

Also the retconned the origins of God. Back when Amara first came around it was said she was more powerful and existed before God. Now they were both the same being and they split into equal halves and caused the big bang.

I guess I understand this decision...God is the big bad, the final big bad. Makes him seem weak if there is someone running around who can easily take him out at anytime.

Though why the hell didn't Billy send Jack back earlier when God was weakened from that bullet?

And turns out Jack isn't going to be God he's just gonna die. So the universe will legit be godless.

Well I’m hoping the guys pull something out their ass in regards to Jack. It’s not like them to just go by what Billie or anyone else says. It’s fighting predetermined fate that’s the whole point of their battle w. God.

I enjoyed this latest episode and I know it's one a lot of fans were looking forward to seeing. We see flashbacks to 1993 showing Sam and Deans very first hunt together when Sam was 10 and Dean was 14. It was nice to see a young Sam and Dean one last time.

We get confirmation in this episode that Chuck has successfully destroyed all other universes. Dean also finally tells Sam that Jack is going to die, which leads to a pissed off Sam as the episode ends.

And with that we have 4 episodes left, the series will be done in less than 4 weeks.

I haven’t watched this ep. yet, but you made it sound fun.
I’m stoked!

A pissed off Sam is what we need, not semi happy finally got laid Sam. And yeah, four more weeks. That’s so crazy.

At this point how can either of them muster up enough energy to give a shit over secrets? There is always some secret.

Hell Castiel still hasn't told Sam and Dean about his deal with the entity from The Empty.

Shit, I’d completely forgotten about that. 🤨

And Cas made that deal to save Jack, who is now slated to die.

So potentially the Winchesters could lose the only remaining family they have: Cas and Jack.

I'd be surprised if there was a truly happy ending for this show, but I also doubt they'd kill off both Jack and Cas.

In other news it is confirmed that the Ghostfacers will not be showing up at all this season, so it seems their season 9 appearance was their last.

I really really want the guys to get a happy ending (though yeah I doubt it too), and that means Cas and Jack both survive.
Argh the not knowing suuuucks!

The Ghostfacers are just some of the characters I wish they’d had time to show up. 4 eps is not enough time.

I think ghostfacers got a web series too, but I never watched it.

And yeah a happy ending would be nice, but it would fly on the face of what the show is all about.

Ha, at this point I’ll be happy if Baby comes out of it all in one peice.

I tend to think Sam and Dean won't die because Jensen has already said he'd like to do another season down the road, some sort of mini-series on a streaming service.

It is true that this is Supernatural so if they die they could find ways to bring them back down the road. However I feel that would cheapen the ending if they die and then get brought back a half decade later. So I think they will both scrape by.

^^^i think you’re onto something there. It makes sense.

Somebody else remembered Castiel’s deal w. The Empty.
I saw this yesterday...

Dean is such a prick though lol. Did he forget the golden rule passed don't from Bobby? "Family don't end in blood boy". Yet he says Jack isn't family.

By the time Dean had known Cas for as long as he has known Jack(like 3 years) he already thought of Cas as a brother. You could argue he spent more time with Jack in the first 3 years of knowing him than he did with Cas in the first 3 years. After all, even though Jack was in Apocalypse world for a good chunk of season 13...Dean has still *lived* with Jack. Whereas in his first few years of knowing Cas they really didn't spend any time together that wasn't about a hunt of some kind. And Cas didn't live with him he'd just pop in when needed.

I guess you could argue that in the first few years of knowing Cas they were dealing with some apocalyptic shit and sort of bonded the same way soldiers might form bonds during a war. Then again he's dealt with similar stuff with Jack too.

And it's not like Jack is super annoying like Dawn was on Buffy.

It's interesting because Jack is slated to die, yet we know The Empty is only going to come for Cas when he is at his happiest. It's hard to think of him being happy Jack dies.

Thinking about it more...Cas knows The Empty is coming for him. Could it be at the last second he decides to become the bomb instead of Jack? I know that Cas didn't do the prep Jack has, but we also know that angels can steal the power of other angels or arch angels if you catch them off guard and slice their neck with an angel blade. And if Cas is already going to the empty...his "happy" moment could be killing Chuck.

Idk I just don't think both Cas and Jack can survive this. I would rather have Jack die over Cas though(I like Jack, but I like Cas more), but it's completely in character for Cas to sacrifice himself to spare Jack and save Sam and Dean, since Jack is like a son while Sam is also like family, plus he's in love with Dean. So before Cas explodes do not be surprised if he is like "f*ck it I'm gonna die anyways" before kissing Dean.

I'm only half joking. I do think Cas has borderline romantic feelings for Dean, but I don't see the writers ever acting on it. I think Crowley loved Dean too. I am 100% convinced back when he could teleport an invisible Cas would spy on Dean in the shower.

I realize that in this latest episode

Spoiler:
Jack already started to "go off" so the bomb thing might not even come into play anymore, but on the other hand they might find a way to slow down the process.

There are only 3 episodes left, after next weeks episode I intend to stop watching until after the finale has aired, since I've decided I want to watch the final two episodes back to back.
