Who won the fight?
The point is that it took them so long to come to a conclusion that no one can make believe as if he'd walk away fast enough to be of any use in the other fights that would take place in this thread. CA wouldn't be able to crash through Adam as easily as he did to Majestic either, thanks to his anti matter shielding, and before anyone brings up how King Hyperion cut through them, let's not forget that Adam was under attack before even bringing his shield up. This once again is not the way a forum battle would begin. It wouldn't begin with one opponent not knowing that the other was going to interrupt their speech and go for the cheap shot. Which Adam weathered.
Hal can't out punch any of the guys on Team 1 if they were up in his face, and we saw how fights between him and guys like Superman go, based on his fights with Superman himself. No matter which team won, this wouldn't be some walk in the park.

Mongul. He also competed with the Flash in speed, even racing to the edge of space in a panel or two. He's a lot faster and more versatile than any one on either team.
Mongul is no Thanos, not by a long shot if we can agree on that? He's within the level that most on Team 1 would beat handily (Not too sure about Hyperion yet, for lack of combat feats).
But he's dealing with a stabilized anti matter reactor that packs quite a bit of power as well. I saw the latest CA defeated twice so far. Once by a prisoner held in a moment when hit by a quantum flux of his uncontrollable nature at that time.
He was also defeated by Firestorm.
In both cases, his assailants took control of his energy output, or signature using it to fully lock him down.
As for energy combat or powers; Adam has used his powers in combat. He used an anti matter shield, attempting to adjust to other wavelengths and successfully locked down The Ghost of the Shaper of Worlds. That very same Ghost of the Shaper was later seen accompanied by Galactus and his team of cosmic hero's to fight against Logos' Dark Celestials.
People are in disbelief that Adam could have possibly defeated Pagan (which was indicative to the the main plot.). Pagan took apart quite a powerful team of Avengers, and he took him down alone. Out reacting Ultimate Hulk and putting him away with one decisive blow.
Just saying that Adam is a factor here.
Majestic carries weapons that can cleave through anything right? How does he stack up against Orion if we were to mention several of his better fights?
Could Hyperion weather assaults that Superman was recently able to, when he had to give Hal a concussion after he went batty with thoughts of Parallax?
Just saying. This may not be as one sided as many believe. It would also ultimately boil down to which combat pairings arose from their collective knowledge while going in.

I never said Mongul was Thanos. CA is trans level, though. Orion is also well above Majestic. He easily owned Hal and this was when he was destroying sky father plus level beings.

And what is a being capable of combating Dark Celestials? The Shaper of Worlds is a cosmic cube. CA has been locked down as well which I mentioned. Power level is meaningless if it can be used against you.
You believe that Orion wipes his butt with Majestic? I don't, not in combat with everything considered.
Hal took off the kids gloves recently in a battle with Superman. Superman was the one holding back. Maybe, just maybe the guys that Hal defeated were one of those off key moments that happen once every few years, or their energy resistance was fail.
Either way, he doesn't typically operate far above any of the members on Team 1 in terms of Earth oriented combat. his powers allow for him to control vast areas of space, but when he gets into combat with this level of opponent, he isn't exactly dancing all over their faces. Yes GL's are powerful but when did Hal roll on Superman, Wonder Woman, or other characters of that level? Hyperion could be on that level. It wouldn't make sense to say that he wasn't durable after surviving the destruction of everything that he saw. Sometimes you just have to remove some of the fluff.

I do. Majestic is good and all, but he's no Orion.
Then at this moment you agree with the idea that Majestic would pose no threat to Orion, despite his movement speed advantage, HV, freeze breath, massive strength level, near Superman durability, and all that other stuff, while in possession of blades capable of cutting through anything, and finally being known to whip up gizmos during combat? Got it.

Mother box is more versatile and can block most of Majrstics attacks. Hal is simply above most too. Depending on which version you use.

The version i saw last fought Superman with force that he'd use on Parallax. Superman held back, and dropped him after defending from the attack that did nothing to him BTW. Again Hyperion has survived some pretty big hits himself. This is becoming circular, because you never brought irrefutable evidence to counter the fact that all fights waged, would be absolute wars.

A no holding back Hal destroyed Parallax. Hal was holding back when he fought Superman.

That is the light brite gang though. They're composed entirely different in terms of defenses. You can't apply that to characters that aren't encased in energy force fields. You do know what Hyperion survived right? Everyone and everything else was erased from existence. You ever consider that you may be cherry picking?
