I saw that this is on Netflix last night while I was browsing. (Netflix is in Portuguese, so I couldn't read the summary, heh) I am curious what it's about...
Ah, sounds interesting...
Crime, Drama, Horror....
A simple yet proud farmer in the year 1922 conspires to murder his wife for financial gain, convincing his teenage son to participate.
Watched the trailer for this and am somewhat intrigued.
Watched this last night. Thought it was awesome.
Thomas Jane is a stellar actor. He continues to impress. He's really good in The Mist, too, another good Stephen King adaptation.
My wife thought it was silly that the boy agreed to help kill his mother, but I thought it was written tastefully enough to make it believable.
Highly recommend this flick, sort of a tragic historical-horror-drama. 👆
